Olmsted Family December 2009

Look at our cute little brood! We are so blessed!

Here's the latest update on the kids:

Jacen is reading! He does such a great job and feels really good about it. He read me a short story from a reader this evening. I am so proud. He also just learned to ride his bike without training wheels. Jacen is playing TeeBAll. It is the funniest thing EVER to watch him. I just wish I knew what he was thinking about when he forgets to run from 2nd to 3rd base. He is definitely thinking about something besides TeeBall!

Ian has just successfully finished potty training. Whew! He does such a good job! He has stopped taking naps- boohoo! He says the cutest things. He keeps telling me, "You hurting my feelings, Mommy! You a MEAN mommy!" when I don't give him everything he wants. He has some arresting baby blue eyes!

Linley is 10 months and walking! I should be a little more upset because this makes my life more difficult. I am actually SUPER excited because I have some cute dresses and skirts that are only wearable if she walks. Otherwise she gets tangled and can't even crawl. For many months now I have hoped that she would start walking before she outgrew these darling dresses. Call me crazy. I know it, but it is just SO MUCH FUN having a little girl! I can't stop looking at her! I have never seen a little girl more determined than her. We are in for some TROUBLE!

I love them all!
